Bought it for my son's seventh birthday, and he loves it! Net is a little flimsy, but for the price it is an excellent set! My son loved it so much, he spent some of his birthday money on a second set, so that his cousins could play with him and have 2 goals!

Those who complain too much about this set should either:
A) Look for a more expensive one to satisfy their needs
B) Build one themselves
C) Shut up and realize that cheap prices are indicative of inexpensive products.
This street hockey set is fine for the price. What did you expect? Iron and 1/4" nylon netting? Yeah, right. The net sets up in no time, the sticks will need a screwdriver to assemble the "blade" to the stick portion. It's all fairly durable as it's made from nylon materials and PVC tubing (like what's used on sprinkler systems) to support the netting.
Keep it out of the sun when not using it and it should last a long time. The only minor gripe is the "blades" of the sticks are a bit flimsy (safety feature?), but my children (5 and 7) adapted to this and are quite happy with the set.
Recommended for street, driveway or backyard.

Just received this yesterday...got if for my 3 year old boy's birthday. It's great. Easy to put together and perfect for playing. If you are more advanced with hockey you may want to invest in something else because the goal is a bit flimsy and the hockey sticks aren't the best in the world but just for playing with I think it's great:) We had so much fun playing with it:)

Bought one for a birthday gift and it was such a hit, it was assembled at the party and all the kids went outside and played with it -- we had to call them back in to have cake and finish up the party! My son fell in love with it, he wanted one, so after the party, I ordered another set and he'll be getting a surprise from the Easter Bunny this April. It's great for the younger kids (4-7) and its easy to assemble. No complaints from our family!

We were torn over this set because half of the reviews were bad, and half of the reviews were great. We ordered it anyway, and crossed our fingers. The box arrived pretty torn up, but the pieces instead where still in mint condition. The only problem was one of the hockey sticks had been screwed in upside down. Our son loves to play, and we haven't had any issues with the net being flimsy or weak. If he hasn't broken it yet, I doubt he will any time soon.
