Jaybird & Mais 299 Hockey Tape is a multi-purpose hockey tape manufactured using first quality woven cloth fabrics. It is coated with an aggressive rubber adhesive system which bonds well to socks, pads and hockey sticks. #299 tapes are hand tearable, and boast excellent tensile strength. Jaybird & Mais Hockey Tape is recommended for all styles of hockey sticks, including composites. Can also be used as novelty item or for decoration. Everyone has their own color preference - some players think black tape on the blade of the stick hides the puck better while some think white tape is for skilled stick handlers because they can see the puck better on their stick. I purchased several rolls last year and have had disappointing results. Tapes I've used in the past have been 'wrap and go,' requiring no touch-ups or attention after the initial application. This has not been the case with these rolls, however. While the tape from one or two rolls has stayed put moderately well (but requiring occasional re-smoothing), tape from other rolls in the same order has loosened and started to unwrap almost immediately. I have a couple of rolls I haven't used yet and I don't like that I have no idea what the adhesive qualities of those rolls will be.

I purchased 10 rolls of this for my hockey season and it is terrible. I wrapped my goal stick and not fifteen minutes later the tape is peeling off. I am not sure if I have a defective product or this product is just bad but I am not going to recomment it to anyone. I have purchased tape in the past from GreatSkate.com and it has served me excellently but this tape is just of poor quality.

I bought this tape hoping that it would be "grippy" on hula hoops and it is! It's the PERFECT tape for hoop makers and hoopers because it gives a great grip so your hoop doesn't go flying off when you're doing hoop tricks. It comes in fun colours and designs and it's much less expensive than the gaffer's tape a lot of hoopers use. I give it 5 Hoops Up!

My daughter want the tape for her hockey stick, so after a research we decided to buy these one. I was surprised it was much more better than any other tape I bough before. Is not a masking tape is hockey stick tape, it resists almost everything.
