3 out of 5 stars Not like the real thing   July 23, 2010

This is a fun enough toy, I like that it shuts off when it runs out of balls and then turns itself back on when reloaded. However, the balls are really small and not like a real hockey ball. My 5 year old won't play with it for that reason but my 3 yr old doesn't care about that and will play with it. It basically just takes up space though, no one really plays with it very often.

3 out of 5 stars Great concept; unimpressed with durability   February 1, 2010

My son loves hockey & really enjoys playing with this toy, but only after about a month, there is some question as to how well it will hold up. The load & shoot mechanism jammed, & I had to take the whole thing apart. It's working again, although I'm not sure what I did to fix it. I'm actually considering calling for a replacement. I don't want to give up on it yet, but the outlook isn't good.
