Works great: March 8, 2010 Otto N. Dahlke (Texas) I've used Almond Sticks for years to take care of the inevitable scratches, scuffs, and rubs that are inflicted upon furniture as a result of daily life. Over time they eventually dry out and need to be replaced. They are becoming more difficult to find due to the high profile and commercial hype of other products. It's always a pleasant surprise to find them,

HIdes your screwups! January 31, 2009 N. Woods (Chicago Illinois) While moving my couch across the new hardwood floor I guess i shouldve been more careful as I left a big scratch, luckily the Almond Stick worked to hide what I did. YOu just rub this thing over the scratch and it covers it up, if the scratch is too deep though it will just color it in so it's not so obvious but it's better then nothing.

After reading the glowing reviews, I figured this stick would work miracles on my wide plank maple hardwood floors. The reality is it hides s small white scratch for a few hours before the oil dries and the scratch is just as visible as before. A much better alternative for hiding scratches is Mohawk Furniture Scratch Remover. I have used Mohawk with amazing results.
Great product September 2, 2008 L. Running (Coeur d'Alene, ID USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I first used this product about 45 years ago. My parents house had a lot of wood paneling which as an active kid I managed to scratch many times. This product saved my behind more times than I want to remember. It really does remove most scratches if they are not too deep. I have used it to make almost any genuine wood product look better. Long lasting great product. Highly recommend.
Superior Product, but it can't work miracles August 11, 2008 T. Abbitt (Tucson, AZ) I recently inherited my mother's teak dining room set, which she purchased the year she got married, 1964. Along with it, she sent the Tibet Almond stick. I asked her where she bought it, cause I wanted to buy one to use with the furniture. She said she didn't know, cause she had never bought one. She had received the one she had as s gift from my grandmother in 1964 when she bought the table. She then said, "You don't need to buy one, cause this one still works, I just used it to retouch this furniture." I didn't quite believe her, so I used it on some of my other wood furniture. Lo and behold, the stick still worked like new! That's 44 years, people. You'll never need to buy another one as long as you keep it in the tin.
That being said, it doesn't work miracles, people. It doesn't fill in scratches. If you have a fine surface scratch, it usually has a white-looking edge to it, and this is an oil that will get rid of the white part of the scratch. If you look closely at the scratch, you will still be able to see it, but it won't be white-looking and noticeable. At quick glance, without closely examining the table, it will appear nice and new. Definitely a product worth buying, esp. since you will only ever need to buy one!
